合而为一TOGETHER AS ONE CONCERT
Date: 13 August 2011
Time: 6pm
Venue: Toa Payoh Chinese Methodist Church
Ticket fee: $150
This is a joint fundraising effort by the TPMC and TPCMC.
We have invited Christian celebrities to perform and share their testimonies and dinner will be provided.
For all who want to attend but cannot afford financially, please look for Ps. Fui Fui individually J
Those who want to help out as ushers, do look for Kendra! So far, Li Qi, Dawn and Hsin Yu have agreed to be ushers! So join them yea yea!
Let’s join with our church in this fundraising effort by supporting with all that we have – 有钱出钱，有力出力!

CAC Board of Youth Ministry (BYM) is organising an egggciting day for all of us to participate!Center of Attraction!
It is a combined district event, a get-to-know better session between the churches. It will be a day of fun and games and bonding with youths from other churches!

40-DAY 2011
July 1 - August 9
Our theme is The Eleventh Hour.
This was chosen last year.
Then came the Arab uprisings, the earthquakes and tsunami!
These and other stunning events of 2011 all point to the urgency of the hour.
The whole earth is groaning.
Our redemption draws near.
It is the last hour! 1 John 2:18
This 40-Day season, we turn to the Parables of Jesus.
This is about as close as you can get to the mind and heart of Christ.
The stories He told speak to our times just as they did His own.
They not only comfort and console.
They also convict and confront.
Rightly read, they bring us to our knees.
Parables are pray-ables.

小组之夜~~美食之夜There will be a combined church CG event on 29 July 2011, at 7pm!
Each CG will be required to prepare a dish and name the dish creatively!
If you have any idea for any dish, please tell your CG Leaders!

Love Singapore 40-Day Prayer Fast Booklet
We are now into the 19th Day of the Prayer-Fast! It is a movement initiated by Love Singapore (website: http://www.lovesingapore.org.sg/), to pray for our nation before National Day.
Not a brain-washing, propaganda thing... but to really look at the issues of this day in the light of our Faith.
CG will be using this material from now till 8th August, so if you haven't got your copy, please get it from Xin Pei!
It is $1 per copy! Not too much for a meaningful 40 days of prayer for our beloved nation yea :)

YOUTH SUNDAY 2011
Hello peeps!As publicised on the YM Facebook Page, we have exceeded our target amount for Youth Sunday with the "Adopt a Tile" movement and the sale of polaroids!
Targeted amount: $2500
Collected Amount: 4063.50!
Thank you to all In-charges and all who have helped out in all various ways!
Thank God for all who have willingly contributed to the fundraising movements for Youth Sunday.
I hope all of us had fun, had an opportunity to talk to the adults and the YF-ers and saw how God worked through this Youth Sunday!

Hey guys!After last week's fundraising, we see how as one ministry, we can do things that are greater than ourselves! Let us continue to unite as one body of Christ and bring glory to our Father In Heaven! Just as HuiHui mentioned today, let's learn to be sensitive to the needs of our brothers and sisters, and be INCLUSIVE rather than EXCLUSIVE, regardless of your age!

Hello People!Youth Sunday is THIS WEEK!
We will be having preparations and prayer meeting this coming Saturday!
If you're free, do come and join the YF-ers and other YM-ers in preparation for this Sunday from 10am onwards! There will be steamboat dinner at 6pm!
You will be needed to help out in the decorating of the Clubhouse, the painting/drawing of tiles, preparing for Steamboat dinner as well as to pray with us!
Here is the rough guide of timings:
10am - Meet at Clubhouse -- allocation of tasks
4.30pm - Prayer Meeting at Prayer Room
6pm - Dinner!
Hope to see all of you there alright!
